After deciding that I wanted to capture my thoughts, findings and mis-steps in a blog, The last couple of days was spent setting this one up.

More correctly I dived down the rabbit hole of configuring GitHub Pages and Jekyll which proved to be annoying for the usual reason.

Well, more correctly, I wanted to do something a little different from the default / golden path and when I found an example of prior art, it was both old and made presumptions.

So after about 3 hours of ‘work’ over two days I ended going back to default setups and just not trying to do anything too different from the defaults before I understood a lot more about how Jekyll hangs together.
